Best Bank Account for U18 Traveller

I'm going travelling around Europe in my Gap year but I will only be 17 when I leave, therefore limiting my choice on bank accounts. I cant take advantage of Nationwides Visa Debit. My current HSBC account charge 1.75% for cash withdrawls and free card purchases.
Are there any accounts that are available to U18s that dont charge for international withdrawls? Alternatively, could I not just get cashback when I make a purchase on my card and therefore miss out the charge?

Actually looks like I can get a FlexAccount at 16, its the overdraft I cant use until im 18. I assume the flex account is the one without international charges?0

Thats fine as I can use my HSBC card for free for purchases.
Any other suggestions for accounts would be welcome.0 -
Try the citibank euro savings account?
I have one of their US$ savings accounts - it lets me hold money in us$ and get it out charge free when travelling. I use it with a citibank UK Pounds current account - they give me close-to interbank rates between the two accounts.
I don't know what charges may apply to taking money out in Europe, but might be worth a look.0
