Hoping someone techie minded can help sorry if this sounds stupid I have a Ipod nano which can dock on the hifi hubby bought me which is fab no problems at all.
But I run and have 2 shuffles which are fab small compact and stores hours of music.....but it cant dock on the hifi....can I buy a docking unit i was thinking for bedroom with alarm etc.......Thanks for any help:j

AFAIK you can't get a docking adapter for an ipod shuffle, it does not use the same interface as other ipods.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

It may depend on which generation of shuffle, but I've got a second gen and can't find one for that.
The simple solution to connect to the hifi is a cable like this:
