No. It's made with Scotch whisky rather than Irish. A slightly stronger alcoholic taste perhaps but virtually indistinguishable from the branded version.0 -
My mum had a bottle for Christmas and we all enjoyed it. Not quite the original but at that price a excellent alternative!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

The Bailey's equivalent in Aldi is lovely, and I think only £4.99 - don't ask me what it was made of i.e. wine or whisky, the bottle's been put in the recycle bin!0

as mentioned above the whiskey in the lidl brand is def scotch whiskey as i just checked the empty bottle i have waiting to go for recycling0

noticed tesco do there own brand baileys too not tried it thou so no idear what its like0

the Aldi one is lovely. opened a bottle on 30 dec when we finished the baileys and have nearly finished it. yum. bargain at 4.99 too.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
