Ooo, I bet sound of music will be good - I only just saw the film a couple of weeks ago
If nobody else claims it, I wouldn't say no to the codeI did have the last one though, so I'll only have it if there's no takers - wouldn't want to be greedy!
How's it going so far with the new lodger?

Would anyone like £10 off when they spend £50 on an online shop at Sainsburys? I don't need £50 worth of stuff and won't for a while - needs to be used by 24th.
First to comment wins!
I have a Tesco code for £10 off a £60 spend if anyone wants that either?! I wont be using it.0 -

Morning all!
A massive list of things to do from me today including:
- Print off payslip (Available online at work) and redo budget for next month basing it on my base pay of £1060 and ignoring all the overtime I'm receiving. This will go directly to PAD
- Remember to take home my lovely shoes from work to wear tonight
- Close my Barclaycard as the incompetant muppets still haven't managed to do it
- Email Scottish Power to confirm what tariff I'm on - they say "Standard Online" when I log into my account, but this isn't an option on any of the websites I tried to compare with. Given that I might save £300 with a company I quoted with last night I would like to have this sorted ASAP
- Post Mr Fresian's admission of guilt for speeding when we rented the car at Christmas. That's a £60 fine + the money the car hire folk charge us. What a muppet. He's paying it though so happy days
- Email Tesco as I have lost a £4.50 Clubcard voucher and want to use it for our little holiday in York
Going to try and get the emailing done first then package up my shopping returns in the vague hope that the courier turns up today.

Wow F_F are you sure you have enough to do there? :rotfl:
Just caught up on your diary (latest installment only, but I am going to save previous for a rainy day). You are doing brilliantly and so focussed, very motivational :T.
I know nothing about energy prices but just thought I would say, I used to be with scottish power at old house and one of their advisers once told me that the "no standing charge" tarrif was good for people with holiday homes because when the property was empty there was zero charge. But as someone else has already said, the unit cost is higher.
I would also second the person who said Love Film cancellation is easy. I just came to the end of my 90 day freebie and I cancelled it online, the day before the DD was due. They emailed me saying they needed to receive the discs back by XXXX, which was that day's date! But they were great when I emailed asking for an extra day, and gave me 3 extra free days to get the discs back to ensure I did not get billed.
I have a question for you if thats ok, I noticed you mentioned you have a clubcard credit card. I also have one but have never done much with clubcard points so I don't really know how it all works. I had a vague aim for this year to get my head around it all and get some decent deals. Do you know if there is an idiots guide to it anywhere? I logged into my clubcard account but couldn't figure out how to actually convert the points. Do you need to do anything with the vouchers that come in the post?
Hope you are getting through your mamouth list!!0 -
Clubcard points - You get 1 point for every £4 you spend on the credit card. I just got a phone which gave me 2000 points which is the same as £20 in vouchers. If you exchange this for Clubcard deals on their website, this is the same as £80 in deals
As far as I understand, you order the deals using the code shown on your voucher, and they send you something in the post. I haven't done it before. I'm going to use mine for meals and days out I think.
I have downloaded my payslip and am getting £1301.63 as my net pay this month. I said I was taking this from base pay of £1060 but it should have been £1160so my first PAD from payday will be my overtime - £141.63
I'm also going to be able to pay the £122 from my council tax non-payment!
