Hi,
Don't know much abot this but just bought my daughter a dsi, and understand we can get somehting called a r4i card to put games movies etc.. on it.
Is the r4i card just an adaptor? or does it just a memory card? What does a r4i provide me with that sdhc card cannot?

OP - The R4i card is just the adapter, you will need a Micro SD card (at least 2GB is good) where the data is stored.
The right R4i firmware needs to be loaded onto the micro SD card for it to work.

Hi Abbafan1972, I too have been looking for info on the web about the the R4i cards. Can you use these cards to store games for your DSi - are they something similar to the TT Card (we used to have one of these to store games for the DS)?
Thank you0 -
Yes these can be used to pirate games. In fact it is the main use although they have some legitimate uses too.Computernumpty wrote: »Hi Abbafan1972, I too have been looking for info on the web about the the R4i cards. My daughter had a DSI for christmas. We bought a R4i card off the web and it came pre loaded with the software you need to run games. We have the 4gb micro sd card and at the moment it is loaded with 54 games. Brilliant product0
