Wish I could see the picture but I can't access it on this laptop

My freebie dig it ( is that right??) seeds arrived yesterday , how good are they! So I got them potted today. Really pleased with them. I have so much veg growing now, really looking forward to it sprouting up.
Top drawer - Jen, Im sure they'll be fine, it doesn't matter what they look like. I presume there leaves from what you said. See how you go on with them you can always put some more in. Im sowing little gems and mixed leaves every other week so i have a continuous crop. I plan to eat loads !
Rozee - 2 girlies how nice ! I love dressing my little girl in pink after all the blue in this house. Shes a proper girlie girl too. I think you're right about the bf being frugal and formula costing alot for twins . I went through one box every 5 days for the 1st 6 months and the price of all the brands have just shot up.0 -
Congratulations Fishcake and Mr Fishcake!!
The baby is gorgeous. xx0 -
Thanks Whitewing but I cant shop at Tesco as the one here in Preston is a long way away and I dont drive. I could look at someone buying it for me but I no-one I know shops there either.
I have some more pics!!

Annie yes unfortunately cities do seem to be more expensive. My dd1 lives in Manchester area and her insurance was more expensive when she tried the same company and they told her it was because of where she lived. We live in a town but are considered rural ?
Fishcake congratulations to you and OH. I can't see the picture because I am not on facebook but might be able to get my dd1 to show me next time she is here.
Hello whitewing. How is your little one doing?0 -

Did you mean THIS April/May?
I'm not sure how big you plants were but I have just planted purple sprouting broccoli seed, will plant them in the garden next month when they are 3" tall and they will be ready to harvest April next year. They take over a year to grow. Also, cover them with fine netting or the cabbage white butterflies will cover them with caterpillar eggs - not nice squishing!
Fishcake - congratulations on your little :ADoing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me0 -
Congrats Fishcake :T
Not long in, so will be away to bed soon !! Went to see The Soldiers tonight (ticket was my Mothers Day pressie from DD, and DS babysat so that she could take me as his part of the pressie), but my 'socialising fund' has been hit for £9 -- £4 return bus fare, and £5 for the programme (not essential, but has some nice photos and info to go with the CDs I already own)
top_drawer : I've spent most of my life with a Preston address (34+ years of my 44) - although most of it 'out in the sticks'. I was in Lea from 1987-1991, which was the closest I got to town centre..... I didn't even know there was a Mr T there (used to go to the Blackpool one, but we lived half way between Preston and Blackpool then and my in-laws were out B'pool way -- so I could combine shopping trips with a visit to them, which saved me petrol and time) Will be in Preston for a meal this Thursday night, as the friend I'm going out with lives in Lea.

Oops. Glad i didn't fill the whole bed with it then. I was going off the dates on the packet of seeds. I think that needs a bit more thought from me then. Thanks for that. ONly our 2nd summer of growing. :rotfl:0 -
