It's a good job I get a maternity exemption for prescriptions as I have now been put on iron tablets! I have been looking for good veggie sources on the tinternet as I hate taking any kind of pills but bambalino comes first at the moment so needs must.

Hi XS, I use Spatone iron supplements as they don't make me constipated - the last thing you need when you're preggers! They're not cheap though. Best price is at Spatone's own site. I managed to get away with two sachets a day in my singleton pregnancy (2 x 5mg) but am having to take 3 per day in this twin pregnancy on top of the iron in my pregnacare supplement (17mg). It's cos I have a blood disorder (thallasaemia trait) which means my red blood cells don't hold iron very well.

I've managed to sell something on ebay! The car seat for my LO's pushchair sold at my Buy it Now price- and the pushchair itself is selling by auction too. I reckon I'll make £100 if I'm lucky toward another double pushchair off ebay - every penny counts eh? I previously wouldn't have bothered going to the effort of ebay selling and would have given this pram away to a friend or Freecycle, so this is a real turn up for the books for me.

Anyone any tips on getting hold of cheap packaging? I just bought 1.5m square from Poundland for £1 (same amount was £3 in Rymans) but I'm probably going to need a whole lot more of this to wrap a pram  so any suggestions would be gratefully received. Also wondering if there's a more environmentally friendly way of packaging?

My Cos lettuce seedlings have just started to germinate. Quite pleased with my babies!

Brilliant - really pleased for you - congrats sf :T:T:T

    - my sentiments exactly - after ex turned out to be a control freak, think I had a lucky escape

Been a NSD today, not been out apart from going down to argue with window cleaners as they have only done 1/2 job again. They think coz its friday, they can get early dart. Really annoying when we pay service charge and they skive off. Ha - thats what they think - next door has already reported them to housing association. ;)

Friend just called with bag of grapes for free as she got bogoff and would've paid full price anway. Did offer to pay but she wouldn't take anything - lovely suprise.

Don't forget Monty Don tonight BB2 9pm - we might pick up some tips - dunno which mastercraft it is about tonight. Watched dream farm last night - don't think she was cut out for farming, but hope she gets business going with wool/crafty stuff. She seemed to have the ideas but not the oomph to get them going properly.

    Have a great weekend all

    Hugs
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on

Can you put it in an old big cardboard box and then send via courier. There are a few you can get cashback on through Quidco, and they collect from you so you don't have to carry big parcels to the Post Office:D
