Cow poo is great stuff, apparently. Some young farmers are known to let the more firm pats dry out in the sun then use them as nature's own frisbees. Dogs like to eat them - v.economical if you live in the country. In the fields you can see where there has been a particularly nutritious one dropped as the grass is just that wee bit greener and longer there. It has a miraculous effect on roses (that's the flowers, not the chocolate!).

Racy you could make it your mission to track down this friend and find out what cow poo facts I have missed.
