That's because you want a certain area, it is like a previous poster said easier to get one in a hard to let area. I worked for the Region in Stepps before reorganisation which is how I came to work for North Lanarkshire, before my department got moved to Stepps we were in Balornock and I would have been transfered to Glasgow at reorganisation.

Sorry if was oversentsitive there - my only excuse is I was being a muppet or a *****.

Good luck with the housing, have you tried housing association lists as well?
