help needed for my sat nav please

hi all, first of all i'd like to say happy new year to you all.

now for my problem, earlier i was going to use my sat nav which is a trumpion but when trying to navigate somewhere it just kept coming up with "application expired" does this mean i need new software installed? and if so can it be obtained free from the net?

Sorry to have to say this, but it seems the reason why "Trumpion" satnavs are so cheap is that they don't work well and they have no after-sales support. The mapping ~seems~ to be based on Route66, but the lack of support suggests that the makers have based their product on an illegal (i.e. non-licensed) version of that software - so I'd guess that's probably a dead end.

oh dear. when i got it a couple of years ago i didnt know anything about sat navs (still dont know a lot now) i will take look at that site tho.
