What's the pros & cons?
Are buyers put off if you're with a shed loads of agents?
Is it worth going with 3+ EA's to get lots of interest?
Do EA's work harder then they know they're competing against other agents?
Etc?
Cheers

May as well start things off:
Pro: More people will see your property. Higher chance of someone liking it. Higher chance of receiving multiple offers
Con: Could be seen as being "desperate" esp if multiple agents run the property in the local rag etc at the same time. Much higher commission to payAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

just use 2 you don't want boards all over your house looks tacky put people off looks like your desperate to sell !0

for: 2+ agents you are more likely to get people bidding against each other.
con: (and this has happened to me as a buyer) buyer found chain in place with EA 1, problems occur and the chain collapses, does EA inform seller? No, in case EA 2 finds a buyer and they lose commission. With sole agency the EA is going to be keeping an eye on the chain and remarketing as soon as there is a problem.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. If I see a house with more than one board I tend to assume that they are either desperate to sell or that the house has some problem that has put previous viewers off.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
