I have just been away with my hubby to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time, the hotel upgraded us to a suite for free and I felt over the moon!!!
However, I had asked my oh to bring me back some cash, he hended it to me whilst I was in a rush, so I just put it in my jeans pocket (I never do this, but my bag was downstairs!!) I raced off to feed my mums cat and then taxi my kids and we them set off for York!
My oh paid for everything, so I didn't even think about my cash until tonight when I offered to buy everyone a take away!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had lost my money!!! £50!!! I am devastated!!! The hotel are going to search and call me back tomorrow, but who is going to hand in £50. I think it may have fallen out in the trouser press!!
So that is the bad news and now I want to try and recover my loss!!! Can you help to make me feel better??? Something like the no minimum spend Empire code!!
I know I sound like some others who have been posting lately for freebie threads and I suppose I am too, but I just want to feel that I have in some way recovered my loss!!! If you have ever lost this amount of money before you'll know how I am feeling!!

You can easily get your money back with joining a few gambling sites via Quidco. Use the Match Betting thread and you will soon be £50 in profit!
I always feel rotten after losing some money but worse things happen at sea."if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170 -
If i had won the lottery tonight i'd have sent you £50I'm better off without you.0

My stepson spent £6000 on a MR2 Tbar and within a couple of months wrote it off. A fox ran in front of him and he swerved. Fortuntaely he was insured fully comp and was able to replace the car, but he was on 20!!!! the loss of bonus at that age is almost the same as the amount paid out!!!!!ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0 -
For my fortyith birthday my mum in law gave me £100 in a card. You guessed it, when we tidied away all the wrapping paper and envelopes it must have got thrown out. Went through the bin and everything but no luck. It was some years ago but I still remember that feeling of frustration.
Jeppy, set yourself the target of saving £50 in coupons on shopping over the next month or so and that might help. Asda mags have a good haul in and are free, or you could just pretend that you paid £50 to upgrade your hotel and put it down to experience.0
