Hi just a quicky. I've got a BIN (rose petal cottage plus nearly everything!) Put it on for £79.99 and had an offer for £70. Local pick up only, by the way.
Would you accept this, send a counteroffer or decline. Not sure what to do.
    Thanks
    Taffy

I think £70 sounds like a fair offer for this? I know there was a price glitch for this on Amazon prior to christmas and they were being sold at £15!!!!

  • Hi Floxxie,
Please can you add me to the list. I sold about 30 items on ebay in November (for christmas cash!) but still have some to go, and I'm ready to be ruthless with the clutter.
I want to see how much money I can make in 2010 from getting rid of excess 'stuff'.

    Thanks,

Iv always got 5 starts and iv put it down to this?

You need to have a look at your detailed seller ratings http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SellerDashboard
it could be a different story when you look at that as you may have been scored low by some. You might be lucky and have got away with it but I wouldn't advise carrying on with postage overcharging. Buyers are getting more and more fussy on this subject

Go back tomorrow, tell them it skips and they will give you a refund even if you don't have the receipt - thats what I did just after christmas. Mine was actually broken and it was a present from OH bought in HMV but it might not have been

    Hi

I haven't had any problems with parcels to Germany of Lithuania, my sister-in-law is Lithuanian, we went there in August when they got married.

I have heard people say they won't post to Italy as parcels have gone missing but I've never had one to Itay go missing. I always post my items in padded envelopes rather than mailing bags. I never post anything over £20 abroad though as I don't want to risk it going missing.

There's no issues really shipping anywhere. People often mention issues with sending to Italy but I have never had a problem.

Unless your item is worth over £39 (or whatever the limit is now) I send by Airmail or Surface Mail and then claim back from RM if it does go missing; I've had one go missing to Poland but don't think it really did. Others will suggest Airsure (and several others) but the issues you have with Recorded Delivery apply equally to these.

If it is worth over that amount choose a trackable postage - personally I then use a courier.

I'm selling quite a few of my comics that are ending soon so am happy about that, will keep relisting the ones that don't sell since it will be free until 24th, hopefully I can sell quite a few before then.

I'm just concentrating on my Business account today and tomorrow and will do some more on my Personal account for Thursday.
