Floxxie, glad that you're starting to sort things out, January will soon be here, so onwards & upwards for you. Men are odd critters aren't they, why didn't he go to relate before f, f, messing it all up I wonder? Hope you have support close by.
Since all these free lists, I'm hardly selling any stuff, too much choice I think. Most of the things that finished in the last couple of days went unsold.
With my listings it seems that if I don't get a bid early on, the watchers remain watching. Maybe I should try shifting the clothes I have.
  • ooh free listing day this weekend! Good luck everyone!
  • Hi - so sorry to have been away - havnt listed in ages. Floxxie - sorry to hear about whats happened, but you sound so positive. Good luck with all your changes, and new job in new year !
Mrscmr - love the new stuff in your shop - especially the purses. Are you going to be selling the fab tree with the apples on ???
I have been busy of the declutter thread, and have reclaimed half the rooms in the house, but have trouble with the dining table still!!
Sold loads through 2 nct sales, but have a few things to get me going again on ebay this weekend.
Good luck to all those listing.

Thanks LHB. Yes I am positive but I'm also very anxious as the debts continue to mount...

Will feel much better though when the exam is over and I can concentrate on making money :D (and decluttering)

  • Hurrah, managed to *finally* get some things listed on ebay! I listed 8 things yesterday to take advantage of the free listing weekend - I could have listed more (have lots of wedding bits left over) but I started off with the most expensive bits first and then by 9pm yesterday evening I had lost the willpower to list any more. I don't like listing directly onto ebay; I much prefer turbolister.

How did everyone else get on with free listing weekend?

  • got 38 listed at the weekend, bids at £17 so far so not off to a bad start!
  • quick question if anyone has the time to answer!

ive sold a tent on ebay & even though i stated no postage & it was collection only. someone from portugal has bid & won & now wants me to price a courier

i would need it picked up from my home in northern ireland & posted to portugal - any suggestions on what the best way to go about this is?

    many thanks
  • Well I made about £50 from free listing day so that's not bad! Typically, the things I thought would sell well haven't had a watcher and the one thing I thought wouldn't sell in a million years was snapped up within a day of me listing it! I also have someone who contacted me about the most expensive item I had for sale, saying they like it but can I go a bit cheaper? I've messaged them back and offered to knock a tenner off so hopefully they'll go for that!
