Wow that is a fantastic total gingababe!

And I did ...nothing, except relist 41. OH had to go away with work and my children wouldn't let me sit down, let alone list.

However two books that I listed a couple of days ago on Amazon sold for a very good price so that makes up for my inactivity :D

  • Hi all :)

I'm back and I'm now *Mrs* Sparkle! Our wedding was amazing - loved every minute of it!

This weekend coming is my first free weekend since the wedding so I plan to sort through all the wedding stuff in the big spare room and get it sold! I'm going to try on the wedding forums first to see if I can sell it without paying ebay fees but if nothing comes of that it shall go on ebay. I'm going to go through my ebay boxes from when I was ebaying earlier in the year and stick it all back on there - I hope I have all the listings on Turbolister so it should be a straightforward job.

I'm going to aim for £100 made on ebay in September - wish me luck!

Hope everyone else is getting on ok :)

    Congratulations Mrs Sparkle!

Unfortunately I bring bad news - my husband has walked out on me and left me with three children and no money. I have no idea who to go to for advice.....

I shall keep on smiling though and eBaying even though only one item sold tonight :(:(

Sorry for the negativity. Hope everybody else is well.

  • Oh Floxxie I am so sorry to hear that. Do you get Tax Credits? Give them a call and tell them you have a change of circumstances you should get more money if your income is less. Not sure of any benefits you can apply for but worth calling to see what you are entitled to.

I hope things work out OK.

Thanks tmd. Not sure how the tax credit thing works as he is the one who works and I do the odd mystery shop but will call them anyway. He is putting enough money in the joint account to cover the bills for the next 3 months which is fine but still leaves me nothing

I have to get the house on the market but have to sell the clutter first. If anything it has focused me but I'm not sure how I am going to do it.

Haven't slept a wink but have got the ironing done ;)

Today is my middle son's birthday so at least we can have a good day celebrating that.

You should definitely let them know that you are a single parent now so they can adjust your claim as your joint income income will be greatly reduced.

Look up www. entitledto. com (without spaces not sure if I'm allowed to post links) it should tell you what you are entitled to now. I know from a post on another website that a single person with 3 children was getting about £170 a week but it probably varies. You might be entitled to council tax benefit and things like that.

Sorry he has done this to you, it is his loss.

    Happy Birthday to your son.
