I've stuck it on gumtree for now see whether it goes on there. I just don't know if I can unpack it all & photograph it all singly.
I do much prefer buying to selling, this was most definitely a spur of the moment, in a manic phase purchase.
Good job I don't have cc's any more.
Your sig looks good especially in the cc's loans.
How many items have you got listed now on ebay, make me feel even lazier.
    Good luck everyine

    Evening ladies,

Getting ready for an eBay listing marathon starting tomorrow evening!

Had 12 items end tonight; 5 have sold which was surprising as they have been relisted several times. Not complaining though as several more pennies into the pot.

I'm getting a few BIN sales at the moment on my business account at very odd times of day, I feel positively encouraged. However my private account is not looking so good so I'm going to concentrate on the business side for a while and go back to the private account when I have more time.

I spent last weekend listing loads into my ebid shops, but not a single sale. I don't know why I got so enthusiastic about listing there, I've just read some of the posts on the boards and they talk about 1 sale a month with hundreds of items listed, I may be wasting my time.

Hi, after a few more days i've had a few more things go off. My listings are up to 18 and ive got nothing going off for 2 days. i am going to try and list things through out the day today. Do you think Friday is a good day to list as people have said its not a good day?

Soolin, I've had a quiet couple of weeks and have no idea why but was quite pleased when I realised that I had missed all the volcanic ash issues ;)
Haven't tried ebid myself but have looked into it a couple of times - do they actually advertise to bring buyers because I have never seen anything and thinking about it, haven't actually bought anything off it.

Natlie, welcome and well done on the clear the clutter challenge!

Vicky, I don't know about Fridays; I've never had mine finish on a Friday as I think people won't be on eBay but others may have different experiences. Our motto on here seems to be: if it's not on there, it won't sell so it's always worth putting items on.

Still waiting for my 5 buyers to pay but not too bothered as that gives me a day of no packing - yippee!

Some people have said that Monday evenings are good to end, so if you did a 10 day listing that's when they'd finish & have 2 weekends for people to find you.
I haven't found that works in my favour as I get loads of watchers & either none or 1 bidder. So whether they have similar to list & want to see the end price or they forget I don't know. I think that they may forget as I generally get people message me after saying their computer had gone down at the crucial moment, hmmm. Offering to buy it then, unfortunately they tend to be lots that have sold.

We haven't had a free listing day in April, I wonder if they'll do one for Monday, thinking that most people will be out doing nice things, not indoors ebaying.
We must be due for one, if i was listing at the moment anything over a fiver so start I would put on turbolister in the hope that the free listing was soon.

I'm hoping that my fat !!!! will get off the sofa & sort out stuff to carboot. I thought that I'd pack up stuff that I'm happy to get a quid for & see if I can clear some space that way.
    Unfortunately the sofa's so comfy.

    !
There is no advertising at all and virtually no buyers. I have been trying to sell there now for over 6 years and have had one sale. However last weekend they had a cheap upgrade offer so I was able to upgrade to a seller lifetime plus account which means i can run shops for free and the stuff just sits there until it sells with no listing fees.

However, as you can imagine all that stuff from all those sellers sitting there for ever and ever means that good items often get overlooked.

There is one book seller who has been registered for almost 10 years and has thousands of books listed, and who reckons he has only ever sold 50 books, so not brilliant. But I just felt i ought to give it a try as I have so much stuff here still to go.
