DHL redelivery help

I know it's not technically ebay but I know that people on here could help me 
I had a parcel delivered on 29th Dec and called the 0845 number with my service centre code and parcel number and asked for to come today. Waited in all day and nothing came so tracked online and it's saying it's still awaiting further delivery instructions. How the heck am I supposed to do this other than calling the phone number they give (seen you can do it online). I was told my delivery was confirmed and if it couldn't come then I would be called which I wasn't. I haven't a clue why they didn't come and I can't find an email or phone number direct for the Preston depot. The one I did find was rubbish.
As I've booked for it to come Monday the same way as todays delivery was booked I'm worried it won't come and I will waste another day. Does anyone know how I can get through to them please?
Also it says my item was collected on the 21st Dec and was out for delivery on the 23rd Dec but for some reason there was no attempt to deliver (there was no snow then so that's not the reason). They really are a rubbish company. Have emailed customer services but not expecting a reply

i had this problem before christmas. the card had a mobile number on it and the main cs number was scored out with a black marker. the mobile was never switched on and didnt divert to voicemail.
in the end just had to wait as emails werent answered and couldnt get through to a human2023 wins - zilch, nada, big fat duck. quack quack,0 -
You could google your local DHL depot and ring them, some are listed and you can contact them direct.0

I did this yesterday and got the Preston number. When I rang it said no longer in use and gave me an 0844 number. Rang this a guy called Dave answered and I told him my problem and he said I'll put your through to customer services, they never answered. Not pleased and haven't a clue if it's coming Monday now as I've asked for.0 -
Misschatterbox, I feel your pain. I had all this with DX a couple of weeks ago. Courier companies are a bliddy nightmare if you work for a living!) Can't help I'm afraid, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for Monday.0
