Travel Insurance Ski Cover

I'm looking for some advice...

We (my wife and I) currently have an annual trip policy which doesn't include winter sports.

The problem is that we're looking to go away for a (European) weekend in January, where we may do some skiing.

I figured I could do with cover for the skiing in case I break my (or someone elses!) leg, but don't want to pay for things I'm already covered on with my annual policy.

Can anyone suggest any "top up" policies that will allow me to "top up" my cover (without doubling up on things like baggage / cancellation cover)

It should be noted this isn't a skiing holiday. It's just that we may drive up to he mountaints, hire skis and get a lift pass, and spend a day (or two) on the slopes.

Many thanks :) (and a happy new years eve to all :))

I would call the company you have the annual policy with and ask if you can add winter sports cover as an extension.

I'll get in touch and see what they say.

In the meantime, does anyone know any cheap 1 or 2 day winter sports policies?
