Sorry but I am not sure what you are talking about0

Obviously government making cut backs on the heating bills to try to pay the civil servants.
Maybe a complaint to GB is in order?Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Martin you could try to switch your central heating on...admittedly this comes at a price but is marginally cheaper than moving to a warmer climate.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Anyone who has had flu would never confuse it with a cold.;)
As an ex flu sufferer (many years ago) I've made sure I've had the flu jab every year since. It costs around £10 from Superdrug and some supermarkets.
I hope you're feeling better soon Martin..................and I hope you'll have the flu jab every winter from now on.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -
I couldnt agree with you more, Martin. I really hate the cold weather and can never get used to it. Due to my existing health issues, I'm offered the flu jab for free every winter, but I still get lingering colds; had one for a few weeks now, one which was at its worst at Christmas!! I crank up the heating in my bedroom and use an SAD lamp to help. If I could afford it, I'd move to Australia or Los Angeles during the colder months.0

See what happens when you leave your top two shirt buttons undone in winter ?
Germs get in.....................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Tee hee hee, this blog title is rather relevant to us at the moment with a boiler that has decided to ring in the new year by breaking down. Today. Of all days. :wall:
*grumbles about how the boiler is only a few years old and how they don't make them like they used to*0 -
I blame it on the EU! Perhaps we could put in a claim under human rights - ie the right to warm weather - especially when we are ill!:rotfl::rotfl:When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0
