I can't see a problem with this if it's all set up properly and, preferably, with a BTL mortgage and charging a market rent.
It might be worth saving a bit now so that you can pay the rent a month in advance (they probably won't want a deposit, will they?) as LHA is paid in arrears.0 -

Just wanted to clarify that as far as i am aware, as per the recent pre budget report, the £15 cap is NOT going in April 2010 as previously expected. It will be in place until at least 2011I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.
