Can anyone help? I have had payments being paid from my tesco card since march. Unfortunately as i rarely use my card I didnt check the statements thoroughly and just let the minimum payment be taken. When i did notice i rang tesco straight away and was told that i needed to speak to fraud, and was told that they would ring me back within 48hrs. I got no call so i rang back. this time i was told that they were going to cancel my card in the meantime so no more payments would be charged to my card. I still heard nothing. Rang again a week or so later and complained and was told that my card hadn't been canceled and a further payment had bee charged to my card. again i was told that now my card had actually bee canceled this time and fraud team had been advised. Again i heard nothing so I called during my work hours to speak to the fraud team. This time i was told that the fraud team don't take calls. so i asked for an advisor and was told i was speaking to one. He was not particularly helpful and told me again that now mu card had been canceled and a new one would arrive in the next 10 days. That was over a month ago and I have not had a new card and I've just had a statement with another charge applied. So I rang and this time I was told that Retail Disputes should be dealing with this, so I rang them and now they are saying fraud are dealing with it and they will be in touch! Is there anything I can do as Tesco seem to me to be incompetent?
