Wireless question

Hey there, couldn't find my answer to this question in the other thread (probably because I'm thick)
But anyway, we have just upgraded our Broadband connection on the home computer to a wireless one, on Orange, which comes with a Livebox modem. I presume this is the router that people talk about?
Anyway, I also have a laptop which I bought 3 years ago which is not a Centrino processor; it is a simple Intel P4 3.2Ghz. What type of card do I need to buy to fit into this laptop to enable it to get the internet off this wireless connection?
Thankyou

I have a Dell 1550, 3.2Ghz Intel P4, 512DDR RAM, 60Gb memory. Does the make of laptop and model make any difference?
Thankyou

I think so; it has a slot in that shape but only with 1 black knob on the side, if you know what I mean; the picture at the top has 2.
Though looking at the bottom pic it looks like the card just fits in half of the hole, so I guess so!0
