Firstplus PPI

HELP, Can somebody help me please I have contacted Firstplus with regards to my PPI as per this website I was not informed regards to previous medical problems not being covered.I had a loan with them then after 8 months I asked for a further advance which they used to settle the first loan and PPI. They have today sent me letter saying they wanted to reach a mutual agreement.They are willing a full refund of the insurance premium £8900 plus interest paid less the rebate already received in the settlement figure £2600 and apply it to my account.A full refund of the insurance premium £12,950 plus interst paid will be refunded to the loan account and a cheque will be sent in respect of the monthly payments made towards the PPI.
I paid approx £80 a month for 8 month on the first loan then,
I paid approx £100 a month for 18 month making a total payment towards the PPI of approx £2500 will I receive this figure back in the cheque.
Also would i not be expected to receive the £2600 settlement figure as well in a cheque as this paid when the first loan was settled.
Or is that being really greedy I do not know what to do so any help would be greatfully accepted

    Hi Daz

    Well done on your success.:beer::T:beer:

    I think you can write to argue (if you are not behind - no arreas then);) to request they refund ALL this directly to you, that's if you wanted it this way, but of course its pretty good deal anyway me thinks, but it is up to you Daz from here.
    So they will apply to the account and the remainder sent directly to you, wow cool.

    However Daz, it is entirely up to you whatsoever here now.;)
    Wait for other opinions on this as well if you want to.

    Congratulations.:beer:

    Thanks Di for your reply really helpful just deciding whether to ask for a cheque for the full amount instead of it being credited to my account, if i was in arrears what would happen??

    Your welcome.;)

    Basically to what I know of, if there are any arrears, they do tend to refund towards these and the remainder directly to you.

    Good luck with whatever you decide.:beer:
