Hi, I would like to go on a walking holiday in Austria in July. Has anyone got any advice as to where to start looking for flights, accommodation, guided tours? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Visit Innsbruck and walk to the 'top of Tirol' A friend and I did this a couple of years ago, but we cheated a little by using a cable car for a bit of it.
Also, visit the lakes near Salzburg. A beautiful area!0 -
Zell am See is another lovely area with mountain and lakeside walks.

A few years ago booked an allocation on arrival cheapie with Thomson in June. Ended up in a great Chalet style pension on a full-board basis in Kitzbuhal - what a great place, just how I imagined an Austrian town to be.
Guided walks leave the Tourist Information Bureaux at 10am every day. The walks are graded and there will be one to suit you. This service is offered throughout Austria.SallyD0 -

Hi
Myself and my daughter hjave just got back from an active holiday in Austria. We stayed in Kirchdorf. Please look on the website crystalactiveholidays and you may find some offers for July. We had the option of whitewater rafting, horse riding, hiking and use of bikes throughout our stay.
I would recommend it, thoroughly enjoyed it
Good luck
