  • Gone from my basket now.
  • just tried to get combined delivery charges and they are so not going to combine my orders!

I emailed them yesterday as I had made 12 orders and I got an email back stating to phone them. Which I did the customer service person was eating something throughout the phone call which I thought was rude and she wont combine them - she suggested cancelling them and re-ordering as one which I cant do as they are dispatching soon! oh well!

Well done to all those that have managed to get them to combine it!

I just think of the savings Ive made!!

Many thanks for all your help in bargain findings!!!

I also emailed and they just said they wont get rid of postage costs and theres nothing they can do. Even though I have 8 orders still not ready for dispatch.

I think its unfiar and not very good on m&s that they do it for some people and not for others. It just seems to be the person on the end of the line deciding.

i have 4 orders and after e mailing them i was offered a return of 1 delivery charge once i received my orders.i'm not entirely satisfied with that and im thinking about cancelling my orders. i really dont understand why they cannot combine orders if they are still processing it...

I have had most (6 approx) of my delivery charges waived, only once did they say no, and I clicked on the link which accompanied the email stating that I was not satisfied with their response. I explained that for the orders which I had made on the same day I had used the one click system but found it useless as the 90 minute window meant that although it showed as being instantly processed the relaity was that the itmes were then OOS. So I had had to go back to the usual way of ordering, and I asked why I should be penalised for their system not working efficiently by having to pay the delivery charge.

I got a phonecall yesterday and the CS person stated that they were happy to refund the charges and to contact them again if it happened on any other orders. He did also agree that during sales the 1 click system was useless, as low stocks mean the 90 minute delay is showing stuff in stock which is actually OOS.

    So,it is worth persevering.

Well i also emailed yesterday about postage after having been knocked back by phone last week. I have only placed 6 orders, so not quite as much as others, i got told they could not take the delivery charges off and that i could cancel the orders and make one big order. Quite tempted to try it see if works or not.

I doubt if it will work, all the items you *really* want will be OOS, and those you put in which you weren't overly bothered about will be there....sods law!!:D Did you press the email dissasified button? if not give it a go, it seems to me that is monitored by staff higher up the chain of comand, and they phoned me quite quickly, which surprised me.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I received an email this morning thanking me for my order.

It was something they had moved into my basket from the saved for later list that everything seems to go into.

It was the gift tags at 25p with a £3 50 postage charge.

I cancelled it so fast I broke my fingernail :rotfl::rotfl:
