I agree entirely about delivery charge.
I can understand charging for a service which delivers to my door, and saves me the hassle of fighting my way through the snow, ice and other bargain hunters.....but thanks to MSE I am so used to free delivery codes and other glitches which brings the overall price way down.
Also, it is so inefficient giving you a due date for delivery....then leaving a card through your letter box 3 days before saying they tried to deliver !!!:eek:
I had about 5 separate orders and deliveries before Christmas, and every single one had to be re-scheduled. How inefficient is that :cool:

I have put in another order today - but very deliberately only for items which can be delivered to store. My order has been confirmed ( yes I know that in reality that is no guarantee) and hopefully by the date I have specified to collect, the weather should be a lot better.

Many many thanks to all you kind posters who have given the links:T.....I have got pages and pages of items which I had fleetingly "safe" in my basket, but then went oos before I could complete my order:o
I do keep checking to see if they come back in stock.
If I do get some bargain - great, if not....well I have saved myself even more money;)
