Selling a Sun Life Endowment Plan?

I have 3 years left on a 15 year plan.
I'm currently paying in £25 a month (started at £20).
But could do with the money now.

My last statement (8/2/09) read:
Surrender Value of Basic Plan: £2,581.39
Surrender Value of Reversionary Bonuses: £430.20
Total Surrender Value: £3011.59

Are there companies out there that will buy the plan from me for more than the surrender value?

I doubt anyone will be interested as
    a) its not a mortgage endowment and the sum assured will be too low
    b) not enough time left
    c) its rubbish

You can try but I know I wouldnt touch it with a bargepole.

Whats the current value? (if old style endowment that would be basic sum assured plus bonuses)

You are also going to need a newer value. A lot has happened in the last year.

Thanks for the reply (although disappointing!).

I've just got a new surrender value as of today of £3253.
    Death Claim Value is:
    Basic Sum Insured: £3734
    Total Revisionary Bonues: £510.61
    Total Claim: £4244.61
  • Hi Dopple

I have an endowment plan similiar to your circumstances and a member sent me this
website that buys and auctions endowments.
    www.apmm.org

They have offered a few hundred pounds more than
the surrender value,so it might interest you.

Also like you my term remaining and monthly payments
were similiar so I have to pay approx £1000 over the next 3 years so I have that saving as well.
    So many questions!!!
