UK Carhire companies that accept Debit NOT credit cards???

If you have enough in your account that they can reserve then it shouldn't be a problem. I used debit card for years.0

Enterprise definitely do. But you need to call them up and tell them that you want to pay by debit card. They will then tell you how much they will reserve depending on the class of car you want. Some other big names will do - depends on local branch policy. Some want a couple of utility bills too.The man without a signature.0

i personally use the smaller hire companies where you can pay cashEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0
