silicone sealant removal from acyrlic bath

Options
Please can anyone help??? I need to remove sealant from around a bath we bought second hand for our son. Any old fashioned or hard graft would be useful rather than having to go out and buy something

Stanley knife with some care for the majority of it. Window scraper to finish off and you'll prolly find that any little bits remaining will rub off. Clean it thoroughly with meths before resealing. Sealant remover WON'T work on thick stuff.

    Cheers

For the last skin you can use silicone remover, this can be bought from screwfix

Sharp stanley will get most of it off

Stanley knife is OK, but I find a scalpel is better as you can get in the nooks and crannies easier. Swann Morton are the make, you can get them from Hobbycraft.
