I am really annoyed now :mad: Lil brother has just come home. He was here when I got up this morning... No card, no happy birthday no presents. Older sis has phoned Mum, seen me three days ago and exactly the same....

Next/this year they are getting nothing from me for their birthdays. Its only £10 each but its principle isnt it. Plus lil bro was given nearly £80 from me for Christmas and I got £25 :think:

Well, I'm in tonight, had offers to go out, but just not in the mood - always get very reflective (which I think translates to others as miserable!) at this time of the year, and doesn't help I turn 30 next year.

Wish I could shut my mind off sometimes.

I've been back from my travels for well over a year - a crap year at that, but I think anything would be after such an amazing 2 years, so the recession has just finished me off! Plus leaving Australia and NZ broke my heart - I saw the NYE celebrations for Sydney and Auckland on the news and shed a tear. Pathetic, haha. :rolleyes:

Apart from that, I have a new niece or nephew to look forward to in 2010 which I am very excited about, and a lovely niece who is 3 who just gets more and more adorable every time I see her. It will be a better year....

In the scheme of things though, things aren't half bad, so I should remember that when I want to throw a pity party.
