I have several cars and for the last two weeks the Shogun is the only one being used. Great traction and great drivers view of the road.
Snowy inclines - bring them on.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
I believe there is a new Kia Sorento due out that has seven seats - and better fuel economy.
BMW X1 has v good fuel economy not sure about seats ( suspect only 5)
What about Mitsubishi Outlander/Citreon CCrosser/ Peugeot Model the same -they all have 7 seats0 -
The C-Crosser has 7 seats, but you have zero luggage space, and they aren't very comfortable. Or you can just have the 5 seats, and a boot space.Fight Crime : Shoot Back.

another vote for the shogun, though the two very back seats are quite small and not really suitable for anyone over the age of 14/ 5ft 6.0

Have a look at Hyundai Santa Fe, probably as close size and fuel economy wise as you will find to a C4 Pic, nice auto too which cannot be said for the Cit.
regardless of what vehicle anyone runs they will be hopeless on ice compared to a vehicle shod on proper winter tyres with the snowflake symbol on the sidewall...M&S alone doesn't denote winter compound.0 -
Landrover discovery is great 7 seats really comfy and we went out in thick snow and ice yesterday - didnt get stuck but used the diff lock quite a bitNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0

Toyota hiace is great, seats 8 really comfortably and a wheelchair/pushchair. Not great on fuel, but 4wd even tho it looks like a little van and drives fine in Wales in the snow (were there last new year!) We also fostered and it was great all round. Even had a little coolbox in the front for emergency drinks on hot days. With Sparkles! :happylove And Shiny Things!0

Well I wouldn't hold your breath.
Probably the most well known company to first produce off road vehicles, and still doing so today, and one which in independant tests usually beat all the competion for durability. (e.g. did you see Christmas top gear?)
Yeah stick with the cheap, foreign copies
Land Rover - the best 4 x 4 x far!
Fine if you like unreliability - I would love to praise them, but they are not very great mechanically - great to do drive though.
Yep, I saw Top Gear - great programme. Still wouldn't buy one :rotfl::rotfl:Genie

Mitsi bits don't have to be expensive if you know where to look
In fact, there is a place on EBay (SDN Direct) that stocks a load of parts for a wide range of 4x4's, and to say his prices are reasonable is an understatement.
And the fact that you have to shop around and go on ebay for parts kinda says it all...Genie
