sounds a lot but depends on if she has some debt she is paying off and or electric for heating too0
-
Definitely sounds like there could be a debt on the meter. There is a way of checking this by pressing buttons on the meter. It's just so long since I had one of these meters that I can't remember which ones
She should call her electricity supplier to make sure she's not paying for someone else's debt. Storage heaters are expensive but this is even more than I would expect.
Would also make sure she's on the right tariff, storage heaters should be storing at night and giving off heat during the day. I was also lucky that I was in a top floor flat, so got the heat from everyone else's heating, so didn't need to use all my heaters. Maybe she's burning them all?4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
If she is using storage heaters, but not on an E7 tariff, then it will be very expensive. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Thankyou
so where is best for her to e7 tarrif??
she think she is with scottish southern???
£ 50 a week is alot of bloody money.0 -
Yes it is I pay around £85 for both gas/electric per month, so either there is some debt or she is paying too much or using too much0
-
Thats reasonable

I am with British Gas on the Essentials tariff but its not open to everyone its meant for low incomes/disabled etc0
