Insurance companys are !!!!ing me off
For some reason my insurance has increased by over £100 even though i haven't made a claim.
Also they are saying i only have 2 no claims bonuses even though i've been driving for three years without making a claim? Last year my insurance company wanted to check my claims and said i do indeed have two years ncb,One of my current car and one on my old first car?
Surely if i had two lastyear i have one more this year making three? Plus the fact i have now been driving for three years and not made a claim?

igo4nsurance did the same thing to me! they wanted to increase my premium from £598 to £882 even though I had not claimed. They even tried to LIE to me and say it had in fact reduced because i paid over £900 last year and not £598. I did not renew and now have full comprehensive for £385 via comparison website.
I think the other issue with no claims is that the NC must be consecutive?QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0 -
This is why I never stay with the same insurer for more than 1 year at a time - they seem to assume that a large number of customers, once with them, will stay with them regardless of the increase, purely for 'convenience' - and there is probably also an amount of heavy discounting done on the initial policy to get you to sign up to them. Just look elsewhere - you will almost certainly get a better deal!
With NC, I think there are a number of reasons it may not have given as much as you expected. For example, if you change provider before the end of a full year, you lose that year as you can't transfer the 'part year' to the new provider. I missed a couple of payments with one provider and restarted the NCD calendar (wasn't very happy about that!)
Good luck0
