Tesco Large Packs

Is it me or do Tesco seem to have a policy of doing away with larger packets of things?
First I noticed that they had stopped doing the double size packets of biscuits. It started with the small packets beings 2 for £?.??. Then the larger packs disappeared.
Next, it was the frozen peas - 2 for thingy on smaller packs then the large ones weren't stocked anymore.
Now, they have stopped doing the large freezer packs of rolls. Last week, I was told they weren't making any more that day (it was quite late so far enough) but today I was told they stopped producing them 2 weeks ago.
I've also noticed a decline in some of their Value range. Specifically, no value finger rolls and no value packs of carrots or tomatos. In fact, no loose tomatos anymore full stop.
And while we are on veg, it bugs me that cucumbers no longer carry a BB date. When I asked, I was told it was on the boxes - not very accurate as individually items can be moved between different dated boxes.
If it is not all in my imagination, can we have some sort of campaign - having to buy twice as many smaller packs is definitely NOT money saving. How does one go about this?

Must be different shops stocking different things. In the Tesco where my mum lives it's all great big packets of stuff. No matter what you want to buy it's all aimed at families. Not much use if, like my mum and I, you live on your own.
We do most of our veg shop at a farm shop now; it's really liberating to be able to buy one carrot, one beetroot, etc, etc, instead of a whole bunch you'll never get through!
What say we swap Tesco's?!

Seems odd, it would seem that our Tesco should be catering for families. Perhaps, your mum's area is all single people so it's more profitable to sell large packets and my area is all families so they sell single people sizes, or is that cynical
Farm Shop sounds good but is it expensive -on a money saving budget here?! Haven't found a shop that would be classed as local yet, but if I do, will look into it.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0
