They are getting more scarce is we are all hoarding them! So probably, just like last year, they will issue more to increase supply at some point. Not much chance of hitting my target if I don't diversify so might also start on 50p coins next!0

I have £15 in one pound coins after changing notes yesterday trying to get £2 coins. i will change them back to notes with the family just so i can change them again at the shops for small things again.0

Just went to update my signature as I had one more £2 coin but thought I'll just double check so counted the jar. I have jumped from £34 to £40. DH must have added a couple at some point:j:j.
