Got one today but this is the first I've had for ages! I'll be counting the one's I've collected so far at the end of February and throwing them into the "Pay off the mortgage account" !

I have had one since starting the challenge. Honestly I nearly asked the shop assistant to give my change in two pound coins!!

It is true that I am having lots of nsds but one! I am hardly setting a good example!!

Similar but not the same, I am leaving the £5 that Halifax rewards gives me each month on my account in an account to that will not be touched.

Does that count as 2 1/2 £2 coins each month?

Yeah why not Oscar! actual two pound coins seem to be scarce!

I was thinking of getting my wages paid in my halifax account just for the fiver - is there a catch?

They are definitely scarce... I broke into a note the other day hoping to get a couple and instead was given 4 pound coins and today I got 13 50p pieces in one transaction! So to cheer me up I spent £3 of them on a cute little money box to store my (eventual) £2 coins in!
