Basically, the harddrive is probably around 1,000,000,000,000 bytes in size, which translates to:
    - 976,562,500 Kilobytes
    - 953,674.32 Megabytes
    - 931.32 Gigabytes

For each step, you just divide by 1024. As said earlier, computer work with a different way of counting from us. 1 kilo to us is 1000, 1 kilo to a computer is 1024.
Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.

In nit picking mode, there was never a year 0, so this is not a new decade.

If you're old enough :p you'll remember the arguments with year 2000.
    Move along, nothing to see.

I get symbols, words & numbers mixed up on occasion in a sort of hexadecimal melange, you should see my ownage math skills where 2+2 never equals 4 or even the same number from one day to the next :p

Those that do know me though generally have an idea what I am talking about and simply reword it better :)

Plus if I do not know an answer I will generally go out of my way to find some other source and link to it, so I don't break their new toy lol

The rate memory requirement have gone up its easy to make a TB GB MB kb mistakes.
I remember thinking 1 MB of Ram was a lot and feeling quite smug with my Amiga 500+ and a whole 7.14MHz processor.

I still remember my trusty spectrum 48k that could count from 1 to 10 in an amazing 0.25 seconds!!

When I started work back in 1984 the mainframe I worked on had 16 MB RAM. That was used to run a database and an ordering system with about 200 users. It also ran all the accounts and payroll processing.

My current phone has 20MB of memory built in!

That's one of my all time favourite games and the reason I bought an Electron instead of a Spectrum or C64.

    Have you tried oolite?
