Morning Hypno and Co!
Guess what I've been doing this morning. I couldn't bear the thought of my little baby trudging around in the dark and snow delivering papers for his first time so I followed him. So Hypno I am even catching the early mornings off you too! Out at 6.30am ouch!
He made one mistake and didnt know what to do, good job his old Ma was there to help. We had to ring a very darkened house and ask for our paper back and I only had to explain to one concerned householder what I was doing lurking in bushes at the bottom of their drive.
Thanks for the advice about wardrobes but it is too late. I bought some off gumtree yesterday. What had been a £1000 set of bedroom furniture from John Lewis is now mine for £75! We are going to pay a man and a van to collect and deliver them. They are three floors up that end and two floors up our end and we have had to admit we are too old and too tired to do this ourselves this time.
Off for more coffee, (doing that too!).0 -

Going for a run later this afternoon so that will get me goingI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

How's the store cupboard and grocery challenge going?
Having fun here!! Trying to take advantage of multi-buys etc to save, but got to balance against leaving no food before flying back, a real juggling act to minimise spend. Prices are horrific too, about double the UK  It's even worse for vege's as we'd got used to using the aldi and lidl weekly specials when OH was redundant, and kept to the routine after.
Basically trying to only top up with food when essential, and stick to shopping list as much as possible, but at the prices here you have to buy some of the special offers as the normal prices are  Hope this sounds sensible?
Being nosey now, SE. Where are you & how long for?
Well done on scratchies win H :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Well, I have had a very croaky throat all day, and a head that aches somewhat, so I think my tiredness is just part of the lurgy  Ah well, it will either develop into something or nothing.
I will go for my download session as planned, but won't be recording.....unless there is call for a guided meditation for frogs
Have managed a NSD, though, so am happy enough with that! Hope you have all had a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

hypno, i didn't realise you were keeping secrets from us until today. I looked out the office window (screen break you know) and there was a posh lorry with Hypno's written over the side of it and what was above the name? only a royal crest. I didn't realise you have provided services to the Crown, quite possibly financial services....
couldn't believe it a lorry with your name on it.0
