Halifax were the first people I ever had a mortgage with, but I must say, in what dealings I've had with them over the last 8 years or so, for peripheral stuff, they've been terrible. I really hope they haven't done anything mega-stupid like lose the documents. Here's hoping they can sort it out today.

Dr Phil does Zen Buddhism! Never thought I'd see it! His suitcase analogy is an adaptation of a Zen parable about letting go and maybe about living in the moment. I know they say fail to plan, plan to fail but sometimes you have to go with the flow on some things. Especially with large organisations:D

Hope all have a much improved day. I note the bluebells seem to be shooting up leaves at the moment, always a good sign.

Just popped on and saw you had a carp day yesterday - hope today is much, much, much better. If it would help you, and this is purely in your best interests, please feel free to forward any chocolate to ME!!!!!!!!!! I am such a kind person....willing to scupper my own healthy eating to do you a favour!!!

I'll send my 'halifax have sorted your mortgage' vibes out later - if we all do it then maybe some cosmo wosmo particles in the atmosphere will alter and a halifax minion will press the right button and it will all get done!! (can I just add that cosmo wosmo particles might not be something any of you remember from physics but it's a true, definite and accurate description of what happens:D) xx

In our school days they were called something different: We had protons, electrons, photons, neutrons and morons. Halifax have an excess of morons...

:rotfl:And the Hadron Collider is hoping to record the existance of the Common Sense particle which is exact opposite of Moron particle. If we smash the two together we may actually negate the effects of both, resulting, hopefully*, in the production of Hypno's mortgage papers as a result.

Anyone know of any flights to CERN? :rotfl:

    * OK, that might need the addition of an Optimism particle into the equation, but hey ho, it's better to :) than to :(.
