the daily mail....had a look at this and they don't do july(which i would like)but this is a very good offer if you want to go outwith this date.
found this website today and joined, not only for the codes etc for the 9.50 holidays there's loads of helpful stuff on here for future reference.:smileyhea:wave:0 -
Sorry to keep asking, but did you get allocated a tent or a caravan?
We have booked at a site which we thought only had chalets and caravans, but have now found that there are Eurocamp tents on site too. I assume that the Sun holiday is direct with the site, so we'll get one of the site caravans, but am slightly worried!
I think last year that you could tick a box for tent or caravan but there doesn't seem to be a mention of tents this year. Didnt look at that campsite though - so cant be totally sure.
Edit - Just looked all over The Sun site & can only see caravans mentioned - not tents.0 -

Sorry to quote myself, but if anyone is still trying to book, please note these ferry prices are for spring and late summer - as I found out, peak summer ferry prices are higher. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Thanks, exactly what I needed to know! I guess we'll just have to wait until the booking confirmation comes through (not the summary one from the Sun saying your online booking has worked) to see who we're dealing with. Did you know in advance that you had a caravan, or was it a "surprise" when you turned up? (And did you always book the basic accomodation, or did you pay an upgrade?) Questions, questions - TIA!They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
:mad:what a nightmare to book a sun holiday online; speaking as a computer durrr its not easy anyway, but to experience breaks in links and unable to display pages every time i tried etc it appears poss due to volume of people trying to book??? I have spent a large part of the day trying and finally (12+hrs later successfully) to book online for us and the 4 kids; I didn't need an auto fill even if i did understand it as i had to retype the information so many times i know it by heart! Lets hope it is worth it.0

Hi
Is it worth buying a code? (not through here) I'm new to all this (my ex sorted holidays out), but I was thinking of taking my girls away in the summer before the new baby comes to give them a bit of a break?
I know I'm way too late to this to ask on here, but just wondered if the priority voucher would be worth getting from those who've used it before?

Thanks for that. Looking at the paper booking form on the back of the letter with the priority code, it does say "If your park choices include European parks offering caravan homes and tents, please indicate your preference here (caravan home / tent / either)" but I didn't see that on the online booking form.
In the brochure that came with the letter, it says on page 6 "Previous Applicant Exclusive! Holidays in Europe from £9.50!...you can book...in a comfortable caravan home or even a superb static tent if you prefer."
That contradicts the T&Cs from the Sun site which says "
12. Holiday homes will be caravan homes, chalets, apartments, lodges, villas, bungalows or cottages." But I guess those T&C are for the UK holidays (as we can only book Europe at the moment by virtue of being a previous applicant; the general Europe holidays campaign hasn't started yet).My head hurts...

While trying some different dates earlier one of them had tent on them.0
