We stayed at Le Chen Gris not from Paris and Disneyland in september from mon-fri, think the ferry was £39. Its pretty basic, next to a train station which is handy for Paris, staff are friendly. If you're driving remember to budget for toll roads and if you have a choice take a diesel car, diesel is much cheaper than petrol.

Can anyone tell me the cost of the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff with the Sun Holiday Deals, as i cannot find the price anywhere. If someone has used it last year, if you can let me know how much you paid at least it will give me an idea of the cost.

I'd like to know this also please?

By the way, has everyone checked the daily mail offer? Apparently you just choose and book but they don't have butlins and they might be more expensive than the sun once you add on the service charge and antertainment passes (optional I assume) but still, it's worth a look for anyone who hasn't got a priority ref and is thinking of paying £20+ on ebay.

    Hi rosered100

How much did it cost to go to Europe last year? I am looking to go to France and i have never been before, as i usually just go somewhere in the uk.

Whereabouts do you go for Europe? I've only ever done UK breaks with the Sun but we are keen to try France in October. Was the ferry price they organise reasonable?

I've tried to find my email confo but must have deleted it. AFAIR it was about £135 from to Caen which was roughly half price on the fast ferry. Of course if you go to Calais it is very cheap - the prices should be marked on the big pull out section which unfortunately I dont have this time around as the maps are very handy for choosing parks.

I can recommend Domaine de Kerlann in Brittany - it is a Siblu park & very impressive all round. Think I'll try Holland this time round & wait for the later Sun offers to do France again.

BTW, if you havent got a priority form you could try the Daily Mail deal. I booked one yesterday for £72 at Haven Lakeland at Easter. Slightly dearer than the Sun but you dont need tokens or wait to find out what dates you are allocated as you book there & then & can play around with dates & parks online. There is a thread on here somewhere - I got my info from hotukdeals with codes(5).

    passwords are -

    Summer
    Luxury
    Easter

The European hols are much dearer there though - so only really value for UK hols
