How much did it cost to go to Europe last year? I am looking to go to France and i have never been before, as i usually just go somewhere in the uk.
We have been to France 3 times with the Sun holidays
it was £9.50 per person ( 4 of us)
then £6 service charge per night ( 4 nights)
£15 insurance waiver ( not sure if all european sites charge this ?)
None of the European sites charge for entertainments passes
We use tesco deals for Eurotunnel,so it's cheap travel too0 -
Whereabouts do you go for Europe? I've only ever done UK breaks with the Sun but we are keen to try France in October. Was the ferry price they organise reasonable?0

Thanks RachieB :T
You seem to be very knowledgable:D.....so I was wondering if you might know as I have never had a priority code and booked on line before...
I'm assuming that I will be able to pick the date and park that I want if they are available - but would I also be able to upgrade my accommodation or extend the stay too or is this something you can only do at a later date once you get your booking confirmation form?
Also does anyone have a helpline number to ring if you have any booking queries.
Cheers everyone :A0 -
HI everyone!
I am thinking of bookin a £15 holiday. What dates are they for and how do I book them? Im very confused!
Catlou - I just tried to ring the number in the T&C but it says this service is no longer avaliable. x0 -
Usually depending on the park ( company ) they will send you confirmation of your holiday and then with it sometimes an option to extend your stay or upgrade. However sometimes you can upgrade, extend, add service charge and passes and then find yourself paying more than just booking directly!0

Can anyone tell me the cost of the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff with the Sun Holiday Deals, as i cannot find the price anywhere. If someone has used it last year, if you can let me know how much you paid at least it will give me an idea of the cost.0

We flew with Ryanair to Girona last summer and then hired a car for the week. We stayed at El Delfin Verde park - super park with lots of amenities and beach of its own. Our caravan was okay but not air conditioned and we had bother with mozzies at night. If we could go again and have an air conditioined van we would.0

it's lovelyand an hours drive from Disneyland Paris so we do a daytrip or 2
Last time we went was Oct half term and the weather was lovely! not much going on in the way of kids clubs etc, as it's the end of the season, but plenty to do onsite anyway
Hoping to get Oct half term again this year
oh and we don't book the ferry,we go via Eurotunnel using tesco deals

you can only upgrade / extend once you receive confirmation ( which comes from the park direct, not the Sun)
The helpline will be on the website : http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/travel/sunholidays/article2062291.ece
