Windows Media Player Help Please

Computer is running XP Media Centre and although have cured the windows installer pop up the windows media player now plays video files very jerkilly
It is version 11

Windows media player wont have codecs to play alot of videos thats why you need to download a codec pack.
Or just download VLC which is very good and has them built in.0 -
Make sure you've the latest drivers for the graphics card.0
