    Hello,

glad your work is okish, my work is rubbish :(

I'm actually having a Gordon :D & have just scoffed a handful of peanuts too :o.

Why is it that I can have an ok breakfast, ok lunch & then when I get home I just want to eat, & eat & eat

Sorry that man stuff is confusing :grouphug:, but if I can just refer you back to The Book ... if he's messing about then he's really not worth it. Remember makeup's mantra : ' No Freaking Drama '.

Right now I'm thinking a husband ( however boring & staid) would be handy so I never have to go to work again & can then spend all day doing Old Style cooking & gardening, rather than just reading about it & feeling inadequate :rotfl:.

    Thanks Lula :A

Really like him, but blowing hot and cold like you wouldn't believe  And me, being me, just want to have a 'conversation', don't think I'm cut out for mind games/playing it cool etc :p

If a man texts every day, but doesn't answer the bit of text inviting him to dinner????? :(

  • I am the worst one to answer man questions.....................

    but here goes!

absolute worse case scenario - he is sitting there going ha ha ha !! I'll ignore that invite to dinner just so she stays up all night wondering, it will really mess with her head meanwhile I 'll work on my plan to take over the world! *more evil laughter*

Best case scenario - dinner? you said something about dinner? I was too busy being flirty and witty!

I d go with him being preoccupied. I feel in a situation like this- when things aren't clear, they must do the chasing to make it clear - for me to avoid feeling like a tit. Don't mention it again and see what he does.

take up daily clicks to keep you busy (bored out of your skull mind you)

I dont want to be a Negative Nelly, but I hear alarm bells :(
As Buffy said it could just be flirty & preoccupied, but if he hasnt already asked you out then I want to know why not ?? Is he already in a relationship & just trying to boos his ego ?

I personally cannot be @rsed with mind games or attention-seeking. I'm too old & too busy to play at being coy or hard to get. Yes, to not always being available, but no to being messed about at someone elses whim.

A brave friend of mine is back on the fishing site & was chatting to & texting a guy. He asked her out for lunch & they agreed all the details, then he cancelled the morning of the date, saying he was ill . She said ok & not to worry about it & was perfectly calm. He then spent the rest of the day texting her every couple of hours asking if she wanted to meet for coffee, for a walk, & then for a drink. What a jerk .

You are far too F fabulous to be messed about & I suspect that he is boosting his ego by having you all confused.

You deserve to be treated with respect & consideration & if he hurts you I will have to slap him, hard.

A man that is worth dating wont play mind games. He will ask you out on a date, he will turn up when he said he would, he will be clean & well presented & he will pay & he will make sure that you get home again safely & he will not try to get you into bed on the first date, never to be seen again.

If he cannot fulfil these very simple & basic codes of conduct then he is just not worth it.

Believe in yourself & how you deserve to be treated :A

    xx

    PS

am on now on Gordon number 2 & peanut handful number 3 - whoops :(
  • I do completely agree with Lula, but as my friends are always telling me I am too quick to judge I held off. I genuinely believe that if a guy likes you it is simple he asks you out, you say yes and it happens like Lula says!

Which is why the ex is so confusing also - so rest assured you aren't the only one

    Love you hon
