Whoops - have been a bit 'spendy'
New towels, bath mat, bits - all bright orange - for the bathroom, and a Union Jack cushion!
Other stuff was just food shopping, Boots stuff and Easter Eggs for my neices and nephew

Spent all morning in bed, reading my book
Surely that's what weekends/bank holidays are for?
Need to get organised now, have family coming over at 4.00 and I have to drop Easter eggs off first.
Not worrying about dieting today either - really feel like chilling out and enjoying my days off

Just updated my signature - my Next balance is creeping up again
But just put all the orange stuff I bought yesterday in my bathroom - and it looks lovely so I don't feel too bad about the spending
And the difference is, from 12 months ago, I actually feel in control of my spending and spend consciously rather than in the random 'need to spend/have' way I used to
Am feeling quite upbeat at the moment. I am starting to finally lose weight, my apartment is starting to look lovely, my finances are under control and and I have few a things to look forward to over the next couple of months - including my hols
I don't want to tempt fate  but I think I am finally cracking the 'baby steps' philosophy and starting to see results - which then motivates me to keep going

A nice comfortable home is important Shoe Gal, so good for you
Glad to hear things are coming together...I think the lighter mornings/evenings and slightly warmer weather help aswell. I just want to hibernate and stuff myself full of stodgy food over winter

:easter_baHappy Easter!
Hope you are having a great day. The bathroom sounds great. I might try having some bright towels and things in my bathroom, it might give a much needed boost to get up and go on those work mornings.
Well done on the weight loss and finances too.
I must have gained 50 million llbs today already, but the chocolate eating has been sooooooo good.
