Mmmmmmmmmmm - glad Monday is over, such a long day :(

Have been quite good with food, bit of extra ciabatta with my dinner but not bingeing like I used to :o Have told loads of people I am dieting, am thinking that the more people who know the more I may feel shamed into sticking with it!

Finally got the bedroom telly working :j - I did need a scart lead! Should really clean and tidy the bedroom now as I didn't do it yesterday but can't motivate myself :(

Set off for work earlier, as planned, and got stuck in awful motorway jam - so will need to make time up later in the week

Going to stick the Slendertone on in a minute while I'm watching telly :)

Pretty cr*ppy week and have been feeling really down :(

I have put back on 2 of the 3 lbs I lost last week, but I am not surprised as I have had no motivation to diet, have eaten really badly and haven't been to the gym since last Sunday :o

Am feeling really stuck in rut. Looked into applying for a different role at work but it would have meant a salary cut with a bonus scheme. Not 100% convinced the role was right for me and worried that I wouldn't be able to make the bonus target - and end up worse off financially  I do like the job I have but, after 2 years, I feel it's time for some sort of change - but I'm not sure what! I would like to keep some aspects of my role and expand upon them but I have voiced this to my boss before and he wasn't very receptive  My job is quite secure though and I am scared to make a move in case it is the wrong one

Had an unplanned night on with an ex I have stayed friends with on Thursday which was nice :)

Payday yesterday so I need to sort some payments out - not been a brilliant month moneywise :o but no increase in my overall debt so not too bad. I intend to go back to cash and a spending diary for March and try to keep a tighter control of things. Have a few nights out planned, and a couple of birthdays, so it will be a spendy month!

Went shopping after work yesterday - and ended up in tears. I cannot believe I have allowed myself to get so fat :o I look awful in any of the sort of clothes I want to wear :( I know I need to sort myself out but just can't seem to find the motivation, I just want to wallow :o. Have really bad skin too, my excema has flared up as I have been stressed and it looks awful

Have a friend's birthday dinner tonight, haven't bought a present yet and of course I have nothing to wear! :(

Hon if I'm not wrong there was a similar post from you not a fortnight ago! If you actually want to lose weight (not just talk about it) then you need to do it for you. If not then you have to accept yourself as a larger lady and dress accordingly. Sorry if this sounds harsh but no point whatsoever in you going round in circles and feeling carp.

Now anyway what about a wee sunbed to sort the skin? I'm cash only now and write EVEYTHING down and it deffo helps. Very religious about the spending diary i.e when mum was about to faint at the shops and I went to get her water I wrote it down!!!! Felt a bit tight but need to get things going in the right direction.

You know I just want you to feel better about yourself. It's not easy XXX

  • Sorry you had a rubbish week shoegal. I'm pretty much the same with work-bored with what I'm doing and would like extra money, but a bit scared to move in the current climate.

Enjoy the nights out, and just remember that you're there because your fab and everyone else thinks so. Do you think they are going to be consumed with thoughts all night about what size you are? They love you, for you.

    xx

Bought some SlimFast too, am going to give that a go for a week next week, see if it will give me a kickstart and get me motivated (Sorry Souk, but am not ready to admit to being outsize just yet :o)
