Can you help me with my Christmas holiday 2010?

Hi guys and gals
Myself and my husband were wondering if you can help us decide where to go at xmas 2010.
We've decided we would like a bit of sunshine but prices for that time of year seem to be really expensive.
We would ideally like to go to the caribbean and have had a little scout to see what we can afford and need some help deciding.
So far we've found Cayo Coco/Cayo Guillermo and Guardalavaca in Cuba.
Decameron Club, Runaway Bay - Jamaica
and
Catalonia Riviera Maya Resort in Mexico.
We've never been long haul before, furthest we have been is Egypt.
We like a nice beach but also like a few shops to look around a definately don't want to be stuck in the hotel the whole time. We like to be able to have a wander around independently if you know what I mean.
It will be me, hubby and two kids (16 and 14)
Any thoughts to help us decide or any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance! Dassad x
