Advice required, please!
What type & thickness of board (ply?) should be laid over floorbords before tiling, and can it be stuck rather than screwed?
Are there any alternatives?
Thanks...

My guess is that you are tiling a bathroom or similar. You are right to chose to lay ply first. We have used 12mm ply and screwed it. Hopefully others will give you the benefit of their DIY experiences, but in the meantime, hth.0

12mm is a bit over precautions, 8mm would suffice and i would screw it as windym said. i would suggest using marine ply if its going to be in the bathroom, because even though you will be tiling there is still the chance that water could get underneath the tiles0
