Battery Charger for Ni-Mh AAA and AA batteries
Comments

I received it today along with a pack of 900mAh Vapextech rechargeables - it did them on their initial charge in just 15 mins before flashing the green light at me. Then I did two 2500mAh AA batteries and those were done in just 4 hours. The AA batteries were very hot when i removed them though
I'm a little concerned

They do get quite hot when charging, so don't worry about it. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I have had one for coming upto 3 years, unfortuantley after buying some cheap batteries from Aldi it ceased working. After contacting Ansmann they asked me to return it to them (I no longer had a box or receipt), they found a problem reported it back to me and have now sent me a brand new charger + 4 batteries, an absolutley stunning service.
These chargers are not cheap but are very, very reliable (unless you use horrible batteries). It charges a set of 2500mah in around 20-30mins!! Because it charges so fast it has a fan built in that intermittently cuts in and out, it is a thoroughly intelligent charger too, detecting faulty cells etc. For true quality, build and warranty you cannot beat it.
The cheapest I could find it was £35.00 HERE at The Digital Camera Company
Inspired by this post I dug out my Saitek Ecocharger which had stopped working about six months ago.
I have had it about 4 years and the guarantee was for 2 years.
I emailed Saitek and mentioned the service that I had read about on a forum I contribute to with respect to another make of expensive charger (The Saiteks cost £40).
I said the advertising was better than money could buy.....etc.
They diagnosed the fault (The power supply) yesterday afternoon and this morning in the post was a new power supply free of charge (Excuse the pun).
The great thing about these chargers is they can charge so called non rechargeable batteries including alkaline and zinc carbon as well as rechargeables.
I have recharged some Duracells 10 times before the Saitek bleeps at me and says they are spent.
If anyone is interested you can get them from https://www.saitek.comA greedy man's bag is never full0 -

I've just bought the Ansmann Digitech 4 from digibatteries.co.uk and am very pleased with that and the service / delivery. It has a switch in case you should want to charge Ni-cad batteries - like most of these it can charge AA or AAA.
Having just reread doozeruk post, he got a much better price.M.E..... MORE than you know0
