TV Aerial - Suspect wiring?

Can you trace the cable from the faulty socket? Does it appear in the loft? Can you see when you remove the socket (you might have to remove backing box as well) whether it goes upwards or downwards, left or right?

Are the coaxs different colours, making it easy to know which one it is? Is the loft aerial the only aerial in/on the house?

Thanks Jimmo, I have already thought that will have to be a back up plan.

Donny Dave, unfortunately the cables are all the standard brown and from behind the box it looks as if it is going across, i.e. to the right and towards the other socket.
